Hello!

We are Kelsey and Billy Nieto. Thank you so much for reading our profile and considering us in your adoption journey. We live in Eagle River Alaska, in the same area where Kelsey grew up. We moved back to Alaska to be closer to Kelsey’s family (they also live in Eagle River). Billy grew up in Portland, Oregon. Kelsey moved to Oregon about 15 years ago - where she met Billy, fell in love and got married. Billy works as a Software Engineer. Billy served in the National Guard for 15 years. Kelsey works as a Nurse Practitioner in a local pediatric clinic. We don’t currently have pets in the home but our families have both cats and dogs. Eventually we wish to add pets of our own.

As a couple, we love traveling (within the United States and Internationally). We love to go camping, hiking, kayaking, snow shoeing, and cross-country skiing together. Kelsey also loves biking and all sorts of arts and crafts (including sewing her own costumes and quilts). Billy loves to hunt, fish, and ride on his snow machine. We are spiritual but not religious and do not attend religious services. We really love to celebrate holidays together, especially Christmas and Halloween. We believe that you get out of life what you put in and that you should treat others how you want to be treated. We love decorating, cooking and being with our families and friends. We believe it is important to give back to the community. We have one adopted son and a gaggle of nieces and nephews whom we love dearly. We are hoping to adopt again because we have always wanted to have children and unfortunately, we are unable to have biological children. There are no words to describe how happy we are with our first son and cannot wait to do it all again. We cannot wait to surround this child with so much love and support.
