Hello from John, Teri, David, Matthew, Bella Mae and Deuce. David is our 8-year-old

son, Matthew is our 3-year-old son and Bella Mae (12 yrs) and Deuce (9yrs) are our 2 Labradors. We live in Wasilla, Alaska. We adopted both David and Matthew and both boys are inseparable. They love being brothers and are asking for more siblings. We love spending time as a family and are looking forward to expanding our family. We are an active family and love to be outside.

John is an airline pilot and Teri is a university professor that now teaches only part-time so she can be a full-time mom. David is in 3rd Grade and Matthew just started preschool. Both boys are home schooled by Teri. Teri has home schooled David since Pre-K and plans to continue to home school both boys. David is on the swim team, cross country ski team and the archery team. Matthew is learning to swim, loves the water and plays soccer. Both boys also love to garden, run, ride bikes, play outside, play with friends and our dogs. David and Matthew have great imaginations and use it to build houses, planes, and cars with their Legos, Lincoln logs and magnet tiles. We currently have several building projects going on in the play area of our home. Both boys really love airplanes and going to the airport to watch them and David has even been given the opportunity to fly a small plane with his dad. John loves to spend time with the family, fly planes, fish, hunt, hike, ski, boat, run and bicycle. Teri loves to spend time with the family, run, cook, garden, bicycle, hike, ski, and teach. Bella Mae and Deuce go almost everywhere with us and are very gentle and friendly to everyone (especially children) they meet. They can be found by our side, walking, swimming, or running. The rest of the time they are looking for a dog treat, and in the evening cuddling up in David and Matthew’s room to watch over them.

Our family’s favorite activity is spending time with family and friends. When we are together you will find us in the mountains surrounding our house, on the lake we live on fishing, boating, and letting our dogs swim, or out in the community. We enjoy our church and the many restaurants where we try to find our favorite dish and then go home and make it for dinner with friends.
